Meet Kurt & Barbara
Howdy! We are Kurt and Barbara Kindig, owners and operators of Rockin’ B Ranch in charming Pearcy, Arkansas.
After retiring from the corporate hustle and bustle, we longed for a slower, healthier lifestyle that centered on growing and raising our own food. Today, Rockin’ B Ranch exists as that dream turned into reality.
We settled in southwest Arkansas after falling in love with the attractive mix of trees and pastureland, the ample rainfall and the temperate climate. When we started out, we were simply feeding ourselves, our grown sons and our adventurous grandkids. Today, we feed many more families than just our own!
Rockin’ B Ranch is synonymous with quality. We don’t skimp, we don’t hurry up the process and we don’t sell to make a buck. Our cows are raised under our utmost care. Along with our herd, we also raise a small number of grain-fed hogs for pork and have a flock of chickens roaming the property.
We purposefully raise a small herd of cattle, personally tending to our animals. Rockin’ B Ranch cattle graze in our pastures, are fed hay grown on our land and are finished on a corn-based feed. Our cattle are never given any growth hormones or any chemicals associated with commercial-scale beef production. When you choose our beef, you’re choosing the best, and you’ll taste it in every bite.
Come and see for yourself. Our welcoming pastures are enjoyed by our cows and human visitors alike. Three spring-fed ponds on our property provide fresh water year-round to our cattle and a little fishing on Sundays if the ranch chores get finished on time!
